Catching up... Family Version

So I blogged all the lovely wedding goodies and here are some family pictures that have I've recently taken :)

This is Annie who is expecting her third daughter in May.  Shes a great friend of mine that I've been through a lot with and I'm so happy she let me take her maternity pictures.  She makes one beautiful pregnant woman!

And these are Annies other daughters, Alexis and Addison.  Addison just turned 1!

Rachel and Kristi are sisters and they have some adorable kids!!!

And finally we have Jenny and her husband Brandon and Jenny's sister Julie.  Oh, and Bella the gorgeous puppy!

Catching up... Wedding Version

So..... its been a while, I know. I've been really busy though with all kinds of photoshoots of all kinds of fabulous people. I've done 3 weddings, several family shoots and some fun ones of a personal nature. I got a new lens, the Canon 70-200mm f/4L USM and it rocks my world. Yeah I know, its not the crazy 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM, but it has the same image quality and is like 1/3 the price and weight! Anyway, its definitely become my go to lens, hardly ever comes off my 5D Mark II and if it does, its only replaced by my 85mm f/1.8 USM lens which also makes me happy inside :)

OHHHH and I totally signed up for two amazing workshops!!! The first one is in Birmingham in august and its called The Share Workshop and the other is a 3 day long extravaganza of AMAZING photographers call The Genesis Workshop in North Carolina. OMG so excited!!!!

OK, I'm sure you want to see pictures instead of hear me ramble about my equipment and workshops so here goes! I also updated my website with some all new stuff so be sure to check there for lots more!

Heres Tina and Jeff and Tinas son Drake.  They were married April 10th at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens.  They are such a fun energetic couple and I love them!

Heres a wedding I assisted Amanda Pair with also on April 10th.  This is Julie and Daniel, they are such sweet and genuine people that even in the short amount of interaction I had with them, I knew they were awesome people with true love shared between them.  

And here are some of my best friends Eric and Andrea.  They were married April 17th at Old Town Helena's park.  It was a gorgeous day and they are an even more gorgeous couple.  I love them both and I was so honored they asked me to be their wedding photographer.  I cried at my first sight of Andrea all done up and GORGEOUS.  She has a wonderful heart and sweet spirit, its easy to see why Eric is head over heels for her.

Magan and TJ: Wedding

Nicole and I were introduced to Magan and TJ through the Birmingham School of Photography. They were looking for a photographer, and they got us! Their Wedding was March 6th at Brignoli Manor in Talladega. It was a gorgeous day and everything went off without a hitch. It was truly a pleasure to work with them - they are so calm and relaxed and are just fun people! We were all laughing and having a good time all day. Here are a few of my favorite shots!
