Magan and TJ: Wedding
Nicole and I were introduced to Magan and TJ through the Birmingham School of Photography. They were looking for a photographer, and they got us! Their Wedding was March 6th at Brignoli Manor in Talladega. It was a gorgeous day and everything went off without a hitch. It was truly a pleasure to work with them - they are so calm and relaxed and are just fun people! We were all laughing and having a good time all day. Here are a few of my favorite shots!

Busy February
So February was a little busy for me which explains only having 2 posts for the month! Between working full time, teaching programming at a local college part time, photo shoots with Rick, photo shoots with Nicole all while trying to build up my photography business with Nicole, I've had next to no free time.
So, whats up this week? Well, my class finished that I was teaching and all my students passed! Yay! It was a lot of fun, but I'm glad that I have a 2 week break from teaching ;) So this week, I plan to finish all of Nicole and Gabes engagement pictures (yes I know its been like a month since I took those pictures!) and prepare for me and Nicoles first wedding together this saturday! We are both UBER excited about it, we cant wait to see how it goes! On top of that excitement, we have 3 other potential clients!!! Hopefully they'll all pick us, I mean, after all, we ARE awesome, right? hehehehe :)
Also, next week, I'm very excited to be getting to meet Amanda Pair another great photographer here in Birmingham. Her use of light and simplicity convey some beautiful emotion and I cant wait to gain some tid-bits of information from her! I've always loved her work, its simple elegance and perfect exposure - its something to aspire to! Anyway, I'm crazy excited to meet her, even though I'm pretty nervous - I still get the jitters around photographers that I look up to! They're like celebrities to me LOL!
Anyway, here are a couple shots i got while assisting Rick Pennington and a few from the engagement session Nicole and I did. I also threw in a picture of my on the 35mm f/1.4L lens I rented for the wedding this weekend, LOVES IT!!!!! Hope you enjoy!

I cant take credit for the above photo - Nicole took it! I was shooting on Ricks camera at the time. Its a beautiful photo!!!
